LONDON — Dissident artist Ai Weiwei warned the Chinese government that its attempts to censor the internet would inevitably fail, in an article published in Monday's Guardian newspaper.
The hacking group Anonymous said Friday it would continue targeting China, after announcing it had hacked hundreds of Chinese websites to protest against Internet censorship in the country.
The online protest group "Anonymous" claimed in a video published Thursday that it was targeting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce over its dogged support of the "Protect IP Act," which they called an effort at "censorship."
