Afghan and NATO forces have captured a senior leader of Afghanistan's Haqqani network. The Pakistani-based group was founded by former CIA asset Jalaluddin Haqqani and has close ties with both the Taliban and al Qaeda.
Pakistan's prime minister has turned on the US over its allegations of links to the Haqqani terror network, saying the "blame game is self-defeating" and US policy in Afghanistan is in "disarray".
