Former Tea Party Republican lawmaker Joe Walsh (IL) voiced his dismay over the state of politics following the retirement announcement by Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) because he refused to support the massive spending bill that's now back in the hands of the House.

On Saturday, Tillis declared he would vote against the bill over cuts to Medicaid that put his constituents "at risk." Tillis predictably drew the ire of President Donald Trump who threatened to primary him in the midterm elections. In response, Tillis announced he would not run for reelection because, "I don't bow to anybody."

Walsh said that what happened next was stunning....

Former GOP Congressman Joe Walsh, who recently accused Donald Trump's administration of a massive coverup, published an article called "Newsflash: The Iranian Regime Is Evil," in which he asks the question, "Why do we have to remind Americans of that?"

"Iran’s ruling regime is really, REALLY bad, okay? That shouldn’t be controversial. And you can despise Donald Trump for the threat he is to America and believe the Iranian regime is evil at the same time. I know I do," he said. "It bothers me that I even have to say this, that I have to remind people of it. Iran’s ruling regime is Islamist (not Islamic—note the difference), and it’s been the greatest single source of Islamist terror around the world for the past 45 years. Those are facts."...

Joe Walsh, a former far-right Tea Party Rep. from Illinois who recently switched parties, says he's "seriously considering" a run for Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) Senate seat.

Walsh told Politico he registered as a Democrat last week and still considers himself a "conservative."

"I am seriously considering moving to South Carolina and challenging Lindsey Graham next year, because he’s a piece of s---,” Walsh told the outlet. “He’s everything that is wrong about our politics, and he’s the worst, most pathetic Trump enabler.”...

A former Republican congressman appeared on MSNBC on Monday night to stump for Democratic presumptive nominee Kamala Harris "the only person who can keep [Donald Trump] out of the White House."

Speaking to host Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary from 2021-22, former Tea Party Rep. Joe Walsh blasted the MAGA leader as a "horrible human being."

"He lies as he breathes. He doesn't give a damn about anybody but himself. He's utterly un-American. He's a sociopath. He's a psychopath. He's incapable of bringing people together," an empathic Walsh told Psaki....

Donald Trump intentionally called for violence on Jan. 6 and he's poised to do it again, according to a former Republican lawmaker.

Former Republican congressman Joe Walsh appeared on MSNBC's Ayman on Sunday. He was asked if it's possible that Trump is preparing his supporters for a scenario in which he loses the upcoming election and seeks their help overturning it as he did in 2021.

"Now he has a much longer lead way to prepare his base of his for a hostile takeover," the host suggested....

As former President Donald Trump faces potential indictment for his role in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, Republicans in the House are pushing Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to hold a vote on "expunging" the former president's two impeachments, one of which related to the same insurrection.

All of this, said former Congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL), is indicative of how McCarthy gave up all his power to the far-right to get the gavel.

"Congressman, you worked with Kevin McCarthy when you were in the House," said anchor Anderson Cooper. "Is this just another example of how far he is willing to go to appease the former president?"...
