President Donald Trump has singled out CNN's Kaitlan Collins for particular harassment — and it’s not just because she asks him tough questions.

To the president, his vehemence towards the star reporter is personal, according to a former Republican strategist with insider knowledge.

Rick Wilson, co-founder of The Lincoln Project, told Raw Story in an exclusive interview that a source close to Trump told him that Trump resents Collins because he feels she owes him for her success....

President Donald Trump's national security advisor Mike Waltz was put on the defensive Sunday about a government agency he once supported.

Waltz appeared on "Meet The Press" where host Kristen Welker asked about the impact of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) slashing USAID's staff of 10,000 down to mere hundreds.

"It has become incredibly bloated, it has become incredibly top heavy, and it's essentially a series of contracts. If you think the big defense contractors have too much power and too much influence, wait until you dig into the USAID contractors and the subcontractors and the subcontractors and the local contractors," Waltz said. "The president wants action and that's what he's getting."...

NBC host Kristen Welker is being ridiculed online after messing up President Biden's name during a report about Biden messing up names.

Welker, who has in the past been accused of "jeopardizing democracy" with her coverage of Trump's alleged election subversion efforts, was recently reporting on how Biden flubbed some names, including that of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The president quickly corrected himself.

"The president was clearly comfortable discussing foreign policy issues from Ukraine to China, but he did mix up Vice President Harris and former President Trump's names mere minutes into the event, just hours after mistakenly calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy President Putin," Welker reporter before a commercial break. ...

NBC host Kristen Welker is in hot water after a report in which she told viewers that Donald Trump's attacks against the daughter of a judge in the former president's criminal case are a "reminder" that this is a "deeply divided nation."

This isn't the first time Welker has been criticized for similar news framings. Less than a month ago, Welker was called out by numerous people, including former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, for her coverage of Donald Trump's 2020 election subversion efforts.

Journalist Aaron Rupar flagged the clip from Sunday, saying, "Kristen Welker describes Trump's attacks on a judge's family and other unhinged rhetoric as 'a reminder that we are covering this election against the backdrop of a deeply divided nation.'" ...

NBC host Kristen Welker was called out by numerous people on Sunday, including former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann, for her coverage of Donald Trump's 2020 election subversion efforts.

Trump made numerous attempts to overturn the election in 2020, which was won by President Joe Biden. The former president now faces local and federal charges in connection with specific allegations that, in doing so, he also broke numerous laws.

In a clip being circulated on social media, Welker said the Supreme Court would review "Mr. Trump's claim that he's immune from criminal prosecution for allegedly trying to overturn the 2020 election." ...
