A conservative advocate had her own words thrown back at her as she went after a local journalist on social media.

In a post on X, Colorado political figure Erin Lee went after local journalist Kyle Clark for quoting her, which led to Clark posting a video of her calling for kids to be "covered in the blood of Jesus."

Lee is the founder of Protect Kids Colorado, which has led state ballot initiatives to restrict participation in school sports and access to gender-affirming surgeries, according to reporting by Colorado Newsline. On Friday, she posted on X that Clark, a veteran news anchor, "has put out stories that I am a cult leader who covers children in blood."...

A local journalist swiftly fact-checked a Piers Morgan interview with a MAGA gubernatorial candidate known for making bizarre claims.

On Tuesday, Colorado GOP gubernatorial candidate Victor Marx was featured in an hour-long interview on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," where he defended his claim that he was forced to kill a man, behead a cat, and has a demon-sniffing dog.

However, veteran Colorado journalist Kyle Clark quickly stepped in to fact-check the interview a few hours after it was published on YouTube. Clark was the journalist whose interview with Marx was featured nationally because he pressed Marx's claim about killing a man and asked how many people Marx had killed, to which he responded: "Does it matter?"...

The Republican gubernatorial candidate who claimed to have killed people as a child won his primary, according to the Denver Post.

Victor Marx, whom veteran journalist Kyle Clark once described as a "cross between Rambo and Billy Graham," won the GOP primary for Colorado's gubernatorial race after a close race against state Sen. Barbara Kirkmeyer, who was briefly in the lead.

During an interview with Clark, Marx claimed that his stepfather had him kill a man, that he called in an airstrike as a civilian that killed 70 ISIS fighters, and that he killed others as a "high-risk missionary," as he's described his role. When Clark pressed him to reveal how many people he had killed, Marx retorted, "Does it matter?" which was widely mocked....

A Republican running for governor suffered a brutal on-stage embarrassment as the moderator tore apart a wild claim about Venezuelan gangs.

Scott Bottoms, a GOP primary candidate for Colorado governor, walked back his claim that upwards of 50,000 Venezuelan gang members are in the state, in a video posted by local journalist Kyle Clark.

"You have claimed without offering evidence that there are 45,000 to 50,000 Tren de Aragua gang members in Colorado," Clark told Bottoms. During the 2024 presidential election, MAGA politicians and influencers insisted that members of the gang Tren de Aragua were taking over parts of Colorado....
