Kyle Rittenhouse, the conservative cause célèbre acquitted in the 2020 Kenosha shootings, is suddenly persona non grata in parts of the MAGA movement after publicly throwing his weight behind embattled U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie ahead of Kentucky's May 19 Republican primary.

Speaking May 16 at a "day at the range" event in Burlington, Kentucky, Rittenhouse called Massie "the greatest congressman, I believe, in a very long time," brushing aside attacks on the Kentucky Republican as "lies." He praised Massie for voting conservative "92% of the time," adding that "the 8% he isn't, he's voting to expose pedophiles" — a nod to the Epstein Files Transparency Act Massie championed and that Trump hated.

The endorsement put Rittenhouse on a collision course with President Donald Trump, who recruited retired Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein to challenge Massie after the congressman voted against Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill."...

The internet was quick to comment after news that Kyle Rittenhouse was hospitalized on Wednesday following a venomous spider bite.

Rittenhouse, who fatally shot two protesters during a social rights demonstration in 2020, shared two images of himself, with one showing him lying on a hospital bed and the other showing the apparent bite mark on his body.

"The communists couldn't take me out and i'll be damned if I let a brown recluse take me out," Rittenhouse wrote in a post on X. "Disappointed I’m not Spider-Man now…" ...

Convicted felon Donald Trump won't get a vote from a man who was found not guilty in his own criminal case, Kyle Rittenhouse, and the ex-president's allies have gone to war against the young gun.

Rittenhouse announced on social media that he won't be voting for the former president because of his record on guns.

"Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisors making him bad on the Second Amendment and that is my issue," he said. "If you cannot be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment, I will not vote for you." ...

Kyle Rittenhouse, who was acquitted of homicide charges after shooting three men during a 2020 protest, killing two of them, has been selected to head outreach efforts at the Second Amendment advocacy group Texas Gun Rights, according to a report.

Rittenhouse posted on X he was "excited" to join the team in response to a release announcing the news from the gun group.
