'Vile': Ex-lawyer shows how 'Trump's comments were far worse than anything Biden said'

President Joe Biden may be getting a lot of the bad press from Thursday's debate, but the things Donald Trump said were much worse, a former lawyer argued on Sunday.

Biden has been hit with repeated calls to drop out of the race after failing to adequately respond to Trump at the first presidential debate. That led to many, including the Raw Story editorial board, to call on Biden to drop out.

Dean Obeidallah, a former attorney and host of SiriusXM radio’s daily program, “The Dean Obeidallah Show," weighed in on an article from CNN....

'When?' Indicted Trump lawyer mocked for claim MAGA has been 'continuously proven correct'

She's spiking the election football six months before November 5.

Christina Bobb, the Republican National Committee worker whose title is senior counsel for election integrity, came out swinging when asked to respond to Jen Psaki's claim on her MSNBC show who called out the notion that President Joe Biden has parted the immigration borders in order to welcome illegal immigrants into the country as a means to "activate them as fraudulent Democratic votes" when the election takes place.

Bobb was nonplussed. ...

Trump is keeping his lawyers from trying a strategy that will help his case: legal expert

The lawyers tasked with swaying a jury in Donald Trump's favor during the second week of the historic criminal hush money trial in New York City are going down a "hard road."

That's according to former federal prosecutor Harry Litman.

He believes the defense is hamstrung because the 45th president won't let his reputation be tarnished. Even as sordid details of his conduct are slowly fogging the air in the trial that is expected to last six to eight weeks before a jury deliberates....

'The best people': Trump drowned in mockery after his lawyers subpoena the wrong person

Former President Donald Trump's efforts to prepare for his New York hush money trial in a few days have hit a humiliating snag, as his attorneys tried to subpoena former D.A. investigator Jeremy Rosenberg — and accidentally brought in a different person with the same name.

The bemused Rosenberg told Trump's legal team "I don't have any files for you," and added, "I'm keeping the fifteen dollars" of witness travel expenses.

Commenters on the X social media platform wasted no time burying the former president and his legal squad in mockery over their mistake....

Trump says any lawyer who takes his E. Jean Carroll appeal is either 'crazy' or a patriot

Donald Trump on Tuesday said he is interviewing new attorneys to take his appeal of the massive E. Jean Carroll defamation jury verdict.

The former president announced on his own social media site, Truth Social, that he is interviewing new lawyers.

"I am in the process, along with my team, of interviewing various law firms to represent me in an Appeal of one of the most ridiculous and unfair Witch Hunts our Country has ever seen - The defamation Sham presided over by a Clinton appointed, highly partisan, Trump Hating Judge, Lewis Kaplan, who was, together with certain other Radical Left Democrat Judges, one of the most partisan and out of control activists that I have ever appeared before," Trump said....

Judge Cannon shuts down Jack Smith's effort to get Trump's lawyer communications

Judge Cannon shuts down Jack Smith's effort to get Trump's lawyer communications

Donald Trump can't yet be forced to disclose if he plans to rely on a defense that would shift blame to his lawyers, Judge Cannon ruled on Friday.

Special Counsel Jack Smith tried to force the former president to disclose his reliance on the defense, a move legal experts said would force Trump into a trap in which he gives up information that would otherwise be protected by attorney-client privilege.

But Cannon shut down that request, according to Katie Phang, a legal analyst for MSNBC....
