Expert pinpoints method for everyday citizens to stop Trump: 'Hit them where they feel it'

A group Donald Trump is reliant on could be the president's undoing, according to an expert who believes losing said support will cripple the president.

Scott Galloway, a marketing professor at NYU Stern School of Business, believes if technology company leaders turn on Trump then the president will have little power in office. He told the The Daily Beast about his plan to put pressure on Big Tech leaders like Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos.

He said, "This is a coin-operated president. And these individuals have decided that their one and only job is shareholder value. And I empathize with that, I get it. There’s a ton of pressure; nobody wants to go first. ...

'It's a talent tax': AI CEOs fear demise as they accuse Trump of launching 'labor war'

Flanked by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted a White House dinner with some of the richest and most powerful leaders of the world’s tech giants.

To Fraser Patterson, CEO and founder of Skillit, an AI-powered construction hiring platform, it was no coincidence that after the meeting last month of more than 30 Silicon Valley power players and Trump advisers, the administration unveiled a plan to charge $100,000 one-time application fees for H-1B visas, which tech companies typically use to employ highly skilled foreign workers.

“It can appear as though, rather than it being an improvement to immigration policy, it feels a little more like a labor war strategy,” Patterson said....

MAGA fury finds new target — this time it's embodiment of Deep South

The MAGA law group America First Legal (AFL) is suing Cracker Barrel restaurants for alleged discriminatory employment practices over the company's promotion of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), according to The New York Post.

AFL filed complaints Monday with the Tennessee Attorney General and the Equal Opportunity Employment Commission (EEOC), citing documents and reports alleging the company "maintains illegal DEI frameworks."

The filings also chastised Cracker Barrel, which prides itself on its Southern country theme, for "rebranding its dedicated DEI website to 'Culture and Belonging,' arguing that the name change did not halt Cracker Barrel from using 'diversity' as a proxy for race or sex," the report said....

'Something snapped': Nixed multi-billion dollar contract reportedly made Bezos Trump's man

Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and owner of The Washington Post, has perplexed D.C. insiders with his dramatic transformation from civic-minded entrepreneur to MAGA faithful, according to a new piece in Politico.

Bezos was famously pictured alongside fellow tech billionaires Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk at Trump's second-term inauguration, cementing what Politico columnist Michael Schaffer wrote was an image that looked "more self-serving than selfless."

"The man who once praised democracy’s guardrails has begun to look like he’s just another rich guy trying to curry favor with a transactional president," Schaffer wrote....

CNN anchors bewildered by Instagram 'glitch' that served reels of 'people being killed'

CNN anchors Kate Bolduan and Sara Sidner were nonplussed when reporting on extremely violent content accidentally showing up on Instagram feeds.

"Social media platform Meta apologizing for an error that resulted in flooding Instagram feeds with graphic content. For some users, they were suggested content that showed people being killed. I had to read this a few times to believe what I was saying. What's happened here?" Bolduan asked reporter Clare Duffy.

"Yeah, it's really disturbing," Duffy began. "People said that on their Instagram reels feed — the short form video feature — they were getting these videos that had sensitive content warnings, video showing people being maimed or killed — really violent, graphic content. And Meta said this was a 'glitch.' It's an error that it is fixing."...
