Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), who is accused of abusing his ex-wife, faces a new headache after his girlfriend of two years was indicted on theft-related charges, Mother Jones reported on Friday.

Jaclyn Alatrash, an anesthesia assistant and bodybuilder who has been dating Miller for roughly two years, was charged by a Cuyahoga County grand jury this week. She faces grand theft, telecommunications fraud and credit card misuse counts, based on claims from her former husband, Matthew Kampert, that she charged more than $9,000 in groceries and other goods to his card once their marriage had ended. Kampert said she was never an authorized user, even while they were married.

The accusations were first aired in May by The Rooster, a progressive Ohio blog. Instacart records Mother Jones reviewed show many of the orders went to Miller's northeast Ohio home. They include purchases from Spirit Halloween, Ulta Beauty, the Vitamin Shoppe, and Costco....

Republican groups are pouring millions into rescuing Ohio Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) as he lashes out at GOP senators who wanted him gone.

Miller looked like a long shot over the summer after his ex-wife leveled domestic violence allegations against him. Ohio's two Republican senators said he should exit the race, and President Donald Trump warned him his odds weren't good, according to reporting by The Wall Street Journal.

Now the GOP is going all in. The Journal reported Tuesday that the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC aligned with House GOP leadership, committed roughly $5 million to ads in the district last month, while the National Republican Congressional Committee has also bought airtime. Democrats have countered with a blitz of nearly $6 million....

Rep. Max Miller's already ugly divorce has escalated into a legal showdown involving his own former father-in-law, Sen. Bernie Moreno, according to newly filed court documents obtained by TMZ.

Miller reportedly issued subpoenas last week to Moreno and his wife, Bridget, Miller's former mother-in-law, demanding they appear to answer questions about their daughter Emily and what they know regarding the ongoing divorce proceedings.

Moreno very nearly got pulled into the case once before. He was almost dragged into the divorce back in 2025, but Miller and Emily struck a settlement at the time, only to end up back in court months later once new disputes surfaced. Moreno has been vocal in the past about his strained relationship with his former son-in-law, publicly accusing Miller of tormenting the family for years....

In a leaked audio published on Wednesday, Ramaswamy can be heard telling a supposed supporter that he has to defend Miller for the sake of the GOP.

"Thank you for supporting Max, Max Miller," an unidentified man can be heard telling Ramaswamy in a recording published by Headquarters News in a post on X....

A CNN panel erupted into heated arguing and shouting after they brought up where to draw the line on certain candidates.

While talking about primary races across the country, Republican political strategist Shermichael Singleton called out the position of Francesca Hong, a Democratic candidate running for governor in Wisconsin, when Democratic political strategist Karen Finney shot back at him by bringing up Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), the congressman facing allegations of domestic abuse while fighting for re-election.

Hong has recently been faced with backlash over old social media posts and comments, including one where she called for an end to Thanksgiving. Singleton went after Hong by saying that she was trying to fundamentally change the country....

President Donald Trump's team told Republicans in Ohio to back off on trying to oust Rep. Max Miller as allegations of domestic abuse surfaced, according to reports on Monday.

Ohio GOP leaders were considering pressuring Miller to end his reelection campaign as the MAGA lawmaker had continued to deny the serious accusations and was determined to remain in the race, Politico reported. Trump administration officials called Republicans in the state to urge them not to push him out.

"They basically told us to back off and let the voters decide," one Ohio Republican involved in the Trump admin and GOP leadership talks told Politico....
