'You lost?' Sarah Huckabee Sanders catches heat for going to NASCAR event during tornadoes

Republican Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders caught flak on Sunday after appearing at a NASCAR event in North Carolina while deadly tornadoes are sweeping through her own state.

Sanders, who was recently criticized for "unethical behavior" while employed by Donald Trump's White House that was exposed during the former president's criminal trial, posted on social media on Sunday that her constituents should be concerned about the severe weather systems. Daytona 500 postponed until Monday due to rain

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Daytona 500 was postponed until 4 p.m. Monday due to inclement weather for just the third time in the illustrious 66-year history of NASCAR’s showcase event. Previously, bad weather — including heavy rains or even tornado warnings — had created multiple-hour delays, forced crowds of more than 100,000 to seek shelter, wait out storms and return for the race. Fans travel long distances in many cases and spend several days in anticipation......

Spencer Boyd’s younger self wouldn’t believe it. The NASCAR driver strapped in his car and headed to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Monday morning. It’s a destination to which he’s headed countless times since moving from St. Louis to North Carolina at age 14 to “chase the racing dream.” But until Monday, he wasn’t the one holding press conferences inside the Concord track’s infield media center, nor was he even able to attend them. Ten years ago Boyd worked as a security guard at the Coca-Cola 600. Nine years ago, he had a gig selling cars at Hendrick Chrysler Dodge. “I never would have thought ......
