CNN's Pamela Brown, who attended Camp Mystic as a child, expressed frustration Tuesday that officials weren't answering basic questions about evacuation efforts during deadly flash flooding that occurred in Central Texas over the weekend.

Brown let out an audible sigh as Kerr County officials wrapped up Tuesday's update on the recovery efforts. They reported that at least 108 people were killed when the Guadalupe River crested. At least 27 girls and counselors at a summer camp were among them.

Five campers and one counselor remained missing Tuesday....

As Alaskan Rep. Nick Begich (R-AK) celebrated the Republican win on the "big beautiful bill" Thursday, a CNN host had questions about Sen. Lisa Murkowski's (R-AK) struggles to accept some of the provisions.

Murkowski acknowledged the bill would "harm Americans" but capitulated after winning "carve-outs" for her state on issues like SNAP benefits and Medicaid, "to protect her constituents from its harshest impacts," according to The New York Times.

Endlessly, relentlessly."

Lutnick added, "The president says, 'You're just messing with World War III. Stop it! Let's just talk peace, be a peacemaker. And he kept saying no, and it shocked us."...

A contentious interview with Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) got so out of control Tuesday that CNN anchor Pam Brown finally cut him off.

The discussion centered around Elon Musk's control of the Department of Government Efficiency and the myriad controversies surrounding his government cuts and access to sensitive data.

"What information do you actually have on what DOGE is doing with that data?" Brown asked. "What are your questions? What do you want to know? Certainly as a member of the oversight, you have some questions."...
