Outrage as DOJ caught scrubbing Trump pardons from website — and blames 'technical issue'

The Department of Justice's website took down a list of President Donald Trump's pardons, only to partially return it after online outcry.

On Tuesday, Democratic political strategist and CNN commentator Xochitl Hinojosa flagged the sudden change in a post on X, noting that "all Trump pardons have been scrubbed" from the DOJ website.

"They're gone....," confirmed MeidasTouch Capitol Hill journalist Scott MacFarlane in a quote post reacting to Hinojosa....

Rapper's leaked texts lay bare his $600k Trump pardon that never came: report

Rapper Boosie Badazz is publishing the text messages behind his failed six-figure bid to secure a pardon from President Donald Trump.

According to a Tuesday article by TMZ, the Baton Rouge artist posted screenshots to his X account of messages that offered a rare window into how self-styled pardon brokers pitch access to the president and what happens when the promised clemency never arrives.

According to TMZ, the texts appear to be exchanges between Boosie and Jack Burkman, one of the two political operatives the rapper says he paid $600,000 to work his case. The conversations reportedly ran from November 2025 through February 2026, with Burkman assuring the rapper his team was pushing the request forward....

DOJ whistleblower torches 'staggering' Trump move that gave fraudster a 'second chance'

A Justice department whistleblower on Saturday tore into President Donald Trump for what she described as a "staggering" decision to give a fraudster a "second chance."

During an episode of The Lincoln Project Podcast, former DOJ pardon attorney Liz Oyer argued that Trump's pardons were "fundamentally different" from others made in the past.

"He has pardoned quite a few individuals who committed fraud involving government programs, including Medicare and Medicaid," Oyer said. "He's also pardoned all manner of white collar frauds, including those that involve stealing money from investors."...

James Comer mocked over call to invalidate Biden pardons on Fox News: 'Be careful'

Rep. James Comer (R-KY) suggested on Monday that pardons issued by former President Joe Biden should be declared "null and void," prompting a wave of reactions online.

The Chairman of the House Oversight Committee appeared on Fox Business to discuss pardons, including the preemptive pardon issued by Biden for Dr. Anthony Fauci. In an explosive new Washington Post report, new details emerged involving former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard's actions and her accusations that Fauci had led a COVID coverup.

Comer argued during the live interview that Biden had never held any meetings ahead of pardons....

White House worried by Trump's birthday pardon plan: report

Trump is planning a major pardon spree to celebrate his and the nation's upcoming birthdays, and White House officials are alarmed, according to a new report.

The United States' 250th birthday is coming up, and Trump has it in mind to mark the occasion by issuing a whopping 250 pardons, according to a Wall Street Journal article that cited people familiar with the matter.

"Some in the White House have raised concerns about doing too many more pardons, or any at all, before the midterm elections," WSJ reported. "Trump could announce the 250 acts of mercy on June 14, which is both Flag Day and his birthday, or on the Fourth of July."...

'He deserves to pay a price': NYT editors appalled as Trump pardon spree unleashes mayhem

The New York Times editorial board had a damning message on Tuesday for President Donald Trump and his decision to pardon about 1,500 Jan. 6 rioters who have since committed other crimes.

Unlike past presidents who have waited until their final days in office to issue potentially controversial pardons, Trump has done the opposite. And in doing so, he has created a major problem, the Times editorial board argued.

"President Trump has abandoned this approach. His self-serving pardons are so numerous that public attention cannot keep up with them. It is a version of the strategy that his former adviser Steve Bannon has described as 'flood the zone': Do so much so fast that people cannot follow the consequences," The Times editorial board explained. ...
