Republican strategist Shermichael Singleton ripped his own party for bringing former special counsel Jack Smith to Capitol Hill weeks before the midterms.

Singleton, appearing on CNN alongside Democratic strategist Paul Begala, didn't mince words when host Kaitlan Collins asked what went through his mind as he watched the already infamous moment from the hearing where Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) botched a perjury trap.

"You know, I don't care about this, and I'll tell you why," Singleton said....

A Republican political strategist gave an icy rebuke of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's use of a trans slur while touting his changes at the Pentagon.

Hegseth made the comment Monday at the Iowa State Fair, during a "Salute to the Troops" fundraiser at JR's Southpork Ranch, where he appeared alongside GOP Rep. Zach Nunn (R-IA). Referencing the administration's rebranding of the Pentagon as the "Department of War," he said:

"At the Department of War, we do training, not trannies," per the Iowa Capital Dispatch. He went on: "Training, lethality, accountability, discipline, readiness — the bedrock of what it means to be an American warrior — is the only focus of our department. Colorblind, gender-neutral, merit-based. That's it."...

A CNN panel erupted into heated arguing and shouting after they brought up where to draw the line on certain candidates.

While talking about primary races across the country, Republican political strategist Shermichael Singleton called out the position of Francesca Hong, a Democratic candidate running for governor in Wisconsin, when Democratic political strategist Karen Finney shot back at him by bringing up Rep. Max Miller (R-OH), the congressman facing allegations of domestic abuse while fighting for re-election.

Hong has recently been faced with backlash over old social media posts and comments, including one where she called for an end to Thanksgiving. Singleton went after Hong by saying that she was trying to fundamentally change the country....

CNN conservative commentator Shermichael Singleton argued Sunday that Americans should trust Elon Musk with their personal data, because there was "nothing nefarious" about Musk's intentions.

State of the Union host Dana Bash asked Singleton, "The notion of him really accessing personal data, a lot of information, and doing, we don't know what with it. That doesn't give you a concern?"

"No, it doesn't, because he's not going to do anything nefarious with this information," Singleton declared. "It's almost as if you're doing an accounting, a forensic accounting of a company. You need to have access of everything in order to say we should make cuts here, or this is ineffective or inefficient. He's doing what the president has mandated or him to do, in part, with the American people expected Donald Trump to do."...
