The 21-year-old who pulled a revolver out of a bag and opened fire at Secret Service agents outside the White House died after being shot, according to CNN.

CNN gave an update based on a statement from the Secret Service. Two people had been shot and wounded during an "encounter" with Secret Service, CNN reported earlier, but law enforcement later confirmed that one of the people shot was a bystander, who was hit by crossfire.

The shooter died while in the hospital, according to CNN reporters, adding that the bystander is in "critical condition."...

There is a "key detail" to be considered in the Minnesota manhunt for the man who allegedly killed a Democratic lawmaker and her husband, and injured another lawmaker and his wife.

CNN's chief law enforcement and intelligence analyst, John Miller, appeared on the network on Saturday to talk about the shooting of four Democratic-linked individuals in Minnesota. Donald Trump's own niece has tied the president to the unfortunately political assassinations.

The young man who died after making an assassination attempt against Donald Trump reportedly posted a cryptic online message in advance of the attack.

Jacqui Heinrich, Senior White House Correspondent for Fox News, reported Wednesday evening that Fox learned that Senators had been briefed on the postings on a gaming website.

"Fox has learned that Senators were told in the all-member briefing today that Thomas Crooks wrote on a gaming platform called ‘Steam’, 'July 13 will be my premiere, watch as it unfolds,'" the report states. "When investigators reviewed the laptop, they found a few searches in July of: Trump, Biden, when is DNC convention, and July 13 Trump rally."...

NBC News reported on Wednesday afternoon that after over 200 interviews with observers and examining over 14,000 photos of Saturday, the FBI doesn't have any information about Donald Trump's would-be assassin than they did Saturday.

Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire on Trump during his Pennsylvania rally, grazing his ear and killing a man behind the ex-president. He was then shot and killed by U.S. Secret Service.

A law enforcement officer reportedly "retreated" from a chance to stop a gunman before former President Donald Trump was shot in the ear over the weekend.

In a report on Sunday, The Associated Press provided new details about the seconds leading up to Trump's attempted assassination.

Angus King.

"He was found dead in Lisbon near a recycling center where he used to work in the same clothes he had on during the shootings on Wednesday," Shepherd said....
