Kimberly Guilfoyle, Trump's embattled ambassador to Greece, was caught on tape making a sweeping promise to land a seat at an Eric Trump dinner.

Guilfoyle boasted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in January that a pair of wealthy Greek businessmen were covering her lavish travel, according to an audio recording reviewed by The Wall Street Journal and reported Saturday.

The onetime fiancee of Donald Trump Jr. was trying to talk her way into a dinner for Eric Trump hosted by Greek House Davos, which had left her off the guest list, and leaned on an American businessman with an invitation to help get her in....

Aides to Kimberly Guilfoyle, U.S. ambassador to Greece and Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-fiancée, have reportedly tried to skip out on paying for her pricey demands.

The Daily Mail reported on Thursday, citing multiple insiders, that Guilfoyle demands pricey champagne wherever she goes, and her team expects someone else to pay for it. Guilfoyle's staff has even leaned on a Greek hospitality fixer for freebies.

According to the Mail, Giannis Chorozoglou, described as a Greek "hospitality guru," has served as a personal guide for Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host, and her inner circle....

President Donald Trump's ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, faces calls for her removal after reportedly pulling a lobbyist into meetings with foreign officials.

Guilfoyle, a former Fox News host who was once engaged to Donald Trump Jr., was confirmed to the post last year. The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that top lawmakers on the House and Senate foreign affairs panels have pressed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to examine her conduct. They cited a recent Journal investigation into her campaign to promote natural gas deals involving a Greek company across southeastern Europe.

"If these reports are accurate, Ambassador Guilfoyle is unfit to represent the United States abroad and should be removed from her position," Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) wrote in a Wednesday letter to Rubio....

Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-fiancée has used her ambassadorship to promote one foreign firm while keeping its paid lobbyist at her side.

Kimberly Guilfoyle, whom President Donald Trump named ambassador to Greece, has repeatedly pressed Balkan governments to work with Aktor Group, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday. Aktor is a Greek construction company that only recently moved into the natural gas business.

Christos Marafatsos, who lobbies for the firm, has joined Guilfoyle at so many meetings that some foreign officials took him for her chief of staff. ...

President Donald Trump's touted Freedom Fuel gas-station network faces fresh scrutiny after a former State Department official questioned possible links to Venezuela.

During an episode of Court of History, former State Department expert on international crime Jonathan Winer suggested Freedom Fuel may be tied to Venezuela's opaque oil revenue and selling cheaper gas through an arrangement that's "literally unprecedented in American history."

Freedom Fuel appeared around Philadelphia in late June with regular gas priced at $3.47 a gallon, which was roughly 50 cents under local prices and below estimated wholesale costs. The White House has promoted the chain as proof that Trump's energy agenda is working without explaining how the stations undercut every competitor....

An alarmed House Democrat said Saturday that President Donald Trump may consider sending the military into yet another country — and for the "dumbest" reason.

Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI) delivered a scathing rebuke of a new Trump administration report that takes aim at Cuba during a Saturday segment on CNN.

"Two-thirds of this report is about the '60s and '70s, and all of a sudden they jump to today," Pocan said. "It's so ridiculous. It's probably the dumbest report I've read in my 14 years of being here, and whoever wrote it should be embarrassed."...
