A former Fox News host unloaded on President Donald Trump over his family's surging wealth, calling it corruption unlike anything the country has seen.

Geraldo Rivera made the remarks Saturday during a panel discussion with CNN host Abby Phillip, arguing that Trump is "unapologetic" about the money his relatives have pulled in since he returned to the White House.

"He thinks that as long as it's not illegal, let the good times roll," Rivera said....

A trust company for World Liberty Financial, the Trump family's flagship crypto venture, has preliminary conditional approval to become a bank, The Journal reported. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, a Treasury bureau, gave the early preliminary approval on Friday.

An ex-Republican strategist is certain that JD Vance will run for president in 2028 with a "Trump on the ticket."

During an episode of The Bulwark Podcast, former top GOP strategist Stuart Stevens made it clear that he expects "JD Vance is going to be the nominee" on the Republican side for president in the 2028 race. However, he added one more prediction.

"Mark my words," Stevens said. "He's going to pick a Trump on the ticket, a Trump family member. Either Ivanka or, you know, depending on who's in and out of rehab, one of the sons."...

CNN anchor Jake Tapper called out Republicans Wednesday following reports of how much President Donald Trump has earned since returning to the White House.

Tapper raised questions about how much Trump and his family had reportedly earned according to his financial disclosure, which showed he earned more than $2.2 billion in 2025 — his first year back in office.

"This 927 page report is a staggering look at President Trump's growing fortune made while he's president through cryptocurrency holdings, royalty payments, property investments and much more," Tapper said. "Trump's total crypto earnings alone totaled about $1.4 billion during his first year back in office."...

CNN analysts stressed the gravity of revelations of Trump's major profits from cryptocurrency.

According to a New York Times report, the Trump family profited to the tune of $1.4 billion through their cryptocurrency business. CNN anchor Anderson Cooper described the revelations as "incredible" and "stunning" as he spoke with other analysts. According to the Times report, Trump reeled in more than $2.2 billion in total revenue in 2025.

"It really is hard to overstate just how unusual and how historic this is," New York Times investigative reporter Eric Lipton told Cooper....

Reactions mounted on Tuesday after the Department of Justice issued an order permanently barring the United States from pursuing any tax claims or other legal actions against President Donald Trump, his family, his trusts, and his companies.

The Justice Department document was signed on Tuesday by Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and was tied to the settlement of Trump v. Internal Revenue Service. The order stated that "The United States RELEASES, WAIVES, ACQUITS, and FOREVER DISCHARGES" the plaintiffs and is "FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED from prosecuting or pursuing, any and all claims, counterclaims, causes of action, appeals, or requests for any relief" against Trump or related parties.
