NEW YORK — Thousands of anti-corporate demonstrators and union members poured through New York's financial district Wednesday to protest inequality in the US economy.
On Wednesday, Oct. 5, starting at 3 p.m. EST, "Occupy Wall Street" will march through the streets of New York City with the members of more than a dozen labor unions backing them up.
Labor unions and liberal activist groups plan to throw their weight behind the "Occupy Wall Street" protest in New York City that has now lasted 13 straight days, according to Crain's New York.
