The Secret Service agents protecting Vice President JD Vance are feeling "fed up" with his hasty personal travel requests, according to a new report from MS NOW.

Secret Service agents "groused" when they had to carry out Vance's recent requests for his family, such as joining a military helicopter crew to fly his son to his golf lesson, the report reads.

"That is RIDICULOUS," a person familiar with the golf trip told MS NOW in a message. "Pence and Harris never pulled anything like that."...

Former Vice President Mike Pence offered a blunt take on his strained relationship with his former boss in a recent interview.

"What's your relationship with him like now?" local news anchor Roop Raj asked Pence at the Mackinac Policy Conference this week. "When's the last time you picked up the phone and said, 'Hi, President Trump, it's Mike?'"

"It's been a while," Pence admitted, winning a laugh from the audience watching him....

Former Vice President Kamala Harris (D) has tipped her hand on her plans for her political future.

After much speculation, Harris announced Wednesday that she would not run for California's governorship in 2026, but she did not rule out running for president in 2028.

“After deep reflection, I’ve decided that I will not run for Governor in this election," Harris said in a statement....

Gov. Tim Walz fused his everyman personality with an optimistic progressive message to win the most important audition of his political career the past few weeks, winning the quick admiration of Democratic activists — and Vice President Kamala Harris, who announced Walz as her running mate Tuesday.

Harris’ selection of Walz rockets the former geography teacher from Midwest obscurity into the highest stratosphere of American politics, potentially joining Hubert Humphrey and Walter Mondale as Minnesotan vice presidents.

Walz’s selection follows his splashy arrival on the national stage during a series of high-profile TV interviews since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race last month and threw his weight behind his vice president. ...

Former President Donald Trump spoke to "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday to discuss his thoughts on the selection of a new vice presidential running mate.

The three candidates widely thought to be in the final running are Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH), and Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND) — but there are potential issues with all of them.

In the conversation, Trump was asked about the primary obstacle to Rubio being the choice: the 12th Amendment, which prohibits electors from voting for a president and vice president from the same state — something Trump could theoretically get around by moving his residency back to New York, but would be a hassle nonetheless. Trump said it wasn't a deal-breaker, "but it does make it more complicated. You know, you do that, and it makes it more complicated. There are people that don't have that complication."...

Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn, who briefly served as national security adviser under former President Donald Trump, signaled he’s not in contention to be Trump’s running-mate in the 2024 presidential election.

“Hope not, I’m spending time with my grandchildren,” Flynn posted Thursday morning on X, in a reply to a Raw Story post.

Flynn’s response was prompted by a Raw Story article about a filing with the Federal Election Commission — confirmed to be fictitious — that indicated Donald Trump has selected Flynn as his vice presidential running mate. Trump campaign treasurer Bradley Crate told Raw Story the filing was a “fraud.”...
