Whoopi Goldberg couldn't stop laughing at President Donald Trump on Monday after he threatened a 10-year prison sentence for anyone who vandalized the reflecting pool.

"The View" co-host responded to Trump's Truth Social post in which the president claims that people who attempted to "destroy" his vanity projects, including the algae-ridden reflecting pool, could face time behind bars.

"He is claiming that vandals are to blame," Goldberg said. "He says they illegally placed chemicals in the water and left a 300-foot gash in the pool. Now, five people are said to have been arrested. He says a ten-year prison sentence will be strictly enforced."...

The internet erupted on Tuesday after "The View" co-hosts put Vice President JD Vance in the hot seat and dropped tough questions.

Vance was pressed about the Trump administration's policies by Whoopi Goldberg and called out by Joy Behar over his responses while he tried to promote his new book: "Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith."

Vance appeared as a guest on the talk show to discuss his new book "Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith." The co-hosts pressed him on multiple topics, including the Epstein files and the Trump administration's immigration policies and detainment of families. Goldberg turned the conversation to the administration's handling of racial discrimination.

"What did Black people do to this administration that has allowed it to really stigmatize folks of color?" Goldberg asked. "And you know how hard it is, you have family. So when you see the Emmett Till stuff coming down or doing all kinds of removal of information of Black heroes, how does that sit with you?"...

Former President Donald Trump was slapped with a $10,000 fine for violating a gag order in the New York civil fraud trial this week, after he unsuccessfully argued his disparaging comments were not directed at Judge Arthur Engoron's court clerk.

But that doesn't go far enough, argued "The View" commentator Whoopi Goldberg, reported Entertainment Weekly on Thursday. Trump should be hit with a fine more likely to actually hurt him — like $10 million.

"He was fined when he disparaged a law clerk, but it didn't stop him from spewing more nonsense when he stomped out of the courtroom," Goldberg told the audience, playing a clip in which Trump proclaimed that he "won" the trial. "What trial is he talking about? He has not won a trial."...
