'I am proud to represent our failing nation': Trump melts down in early morning court rant

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday kicked off his morning with a caps-heavy rant on Truth Social railing against a gag order that bars him from attacking witnesses in the hush-money trial that saw him get convicted on 34 felony counts.

"I am proud to represent our Failing Nation in fighting the GREATEST POLITICAL WITCH HUNT IN HISTORY," Trump wrote. "REMOVE THE GAG ORDER SO THAT I CAN SHOW HOW CORRUPT OUR COURT SYSTEM IS. PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ARE NOT TO BE GAGGED!"

'Numbed by the hate speech': Morning Joe shames media coverage of 'deranged' Trump

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough ripped his colleagues in the mainstream media for downplaying Donald Trump's negative characteristics.

The former president won the Republican nomination despite attempting to undo his 2020 election loss, for which he's been indicted in federal and state courts, and he's been criminally charged in two other cases – one of which resulted in his conviction on 34 felony counts – and the "Morning Joe" host said that many fellow journalists and pundits have normalized those facts and, as panelist Mike Barnicle put it, his "deranged" statements.

Donald Trump won’t appear in Oregon’s voters’ pamphlet

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump once again declined to submit a statement to Oregon’s state-issued voters’ pamphlet, skipping an opportunity to make his case to the state’s 3 million voters.

Candidates aren’t required to submit voters’ pamphlet statements, and Trump will still appear on all Oregon ballots. But most candidates participate in the pamphlet, which is mailed to all Oregon households and is a cheap – presidential candidates pay the top fee of $3,500 – way to share a campaign’s message with all voters.

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough laughed out loud at the recollection of Donald Trump getting a forceful fact-check of his admiration for Adolf Hitler.

Convicted felon Trump dubbed 'law and order' candidate by Ohio Attorney General

Donald Trump is the first major-party candidate to seek the presidency despite being convicted of 34 felonies. Those convictions relate to his having an extramarital affair with a porn star and paying her hush money to hide it from voters with an illegal cover-up before the 2016 election.

Even so, Ohio’s top law enforcement official, Attorney General Dave Yost, on Aug. 21 called the campaign of Trump and Ohio U.S. Sen. J.D. Vance, “the law and order” ticket.

Trump’s 'desperate' and 'half-baked' IVF proposal incompatible with platform: columnist

Donald Trump's running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), has been drawing widespread criticism not only for his attacks on "childless cat ladies" and "childless Democrats" who have decided against having children, but also, for his insensitivity to couples who have struggled with fertility. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris' running mate, and his wife Gwen Walz have been calling Vance out.

Gwen Walz, during an "Educators for Harris-Walz" event on August 30, commented, "Now, I read that JD Vance said he was really disturbed by teachers who don't have biological children. Well, for a long time, Tim and I were teachers who struggled with infertility, and we were only able to start a family because of fertility treatments. So, this is really personal for me, and I think it is for millions of Americans. We do not take kindly to folks like JD Vance telling us when or how to start our families."
