'Desperate' Trump got played for a 'sucker' by billionaire investor: reporter

Donald Trump may have gotten played for a "sucker" by a billionaire donor who's trying to save his stake in the TikTok social media company, according to a journalist.

Billionaire investor Jeff Yass and his privately held Susquehanna International Group hold a 15-percent stake in TikTok's parent company ByteDance, but president Joe Biden signed a law last month that would force the company to sell off the social media platform to an American owner or get banned from the U.S. market – so he's turning to Trump for help.

'Annoyed' jurors could let Trump walk after trial focused on affair not crime: expert

Former President Donald Trump has faced weeks of testimony in the Manhattan criminal trial for alleged falsification of business records to conceal hush payments to an adult film star — including from his former attorney and fixer Michael Cohen — and the prosecution is getting ready to rest.

But it's not entirely clear they've convincingly made their case.

Trump lawyer's 'meandering' grilling makes Michael Cohen 'more credible': analyst

Donald Trump's lawyer Todd Blanche's "scattershot" attacks on prosecution witness Michael Cohen are, so far, blowing up in his face, according to one analyst observing the hush money trial now taking place in a Manhattan courtroom.

According to MSNBC's Hayes Brown, Blanche's attacks on Cohen's credibility after the ex-Trump lawyer admitted in court multiple times that he lied in service to his former client actually helps the prosecution's case that the ex-president was deploying deception by paying off adult film star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

The prosecutor and judge involved in Donald Trump's election interference case in Georgia are both running for re-election in next week's primary election.

Morning Joe accuses the NYT of publishing 'garbage' pro-Trump polls to create news

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough went on an extended rant on Wednesday morning over a recent questionable — according to analysts— New York Times/Siena poll that showed Donald Trump with unusually huge leads in battleground states, with the "Morning Joe" host accusing the venerable newspaper of publishing "garbage" to create news.

According to the NYT poll, President Joe Biden is struggling with young voters and voters of color. However, as co-host Mika Brzezinski pointed out, polling experts have taken to social media to rip the pollsters' methodology apart saying the final results have been "skewed" in Trump's favor.

'Sad spectacle': Morning Joe panel shames Mike Johnson for joining Trump 'obstruction'

MSNBC's Joe Scarborough and one of his guests shamed House speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for using the authority of his office to attack prosecutors and the court on behalf of Donald Trump.

Johnson joined a parade of Republican lawmakers and politicians, including Sens. Rick Scott (R-FL), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) and J.D. Vance (R-OH), to attend portions of Donald Trump's criminal trial in Manhattan and then speak out against the prosecution outside the courthouse in a possible violation of a judge's gag order, and the "Morning Joe" panel expressed condemnation.

Trump shows new 'weakness' after latest round of primaries: report

Donald Trump continued his winning streak in Tuesday's primaries, emerging victorious in Maryland, Nebraska and West Virginia — but there are new warning signs for him when it comes to November's general election.

Much like in Indiana's primary last week, a substantial percentage of Republican voters are still balking at voting for the former president, choosing instead to back former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) who dropped out almost 45 days ago.

'Grifting': Trump kin and allies film low-quality fundraising plea from inside courthouse

Defendant Donald Trump may gripe about being tethered to court and unable to stump for president on the campaign trail, but that's not stopping his devoted allies from turning a Manhattan courtroom into campaign headquarters.

Huddling around a lo-fi camera setup Tuesday and claiming to be at the 100 Centre Street criminal courthouse in Lower Manhattan were Trump's son Eric, his wife and RNC Co-Chair Lara Trump, along with Reps. Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Cory Mills (R-FL) and former presidential candidate and vice president contender Vivek Ramaswamy.

A top U.S. House Democrat announced Tuesday that he is demanding answers from fossil fuel executives after Washington Post reporting revealed last week that former Republican President Donald Trump recently told industry leaders he would gut climate regulations if they raised $1 billion for his 2024 presidential campaign.

Republican anti-Donald Trump group the Lincoln Project on Tuesday issued a brutal rebuttal to one conservative pundit's recent attempt to shame Vice President Kamala Harris: a video montage of the former president uttering swear words that cannot be printed on this site.

The video came as a rebuke to Fox News' Raymond Arroyo and his claim that Harris had denigrated her higher office by dropping "the f-bomb" during a speech to Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander organizations on Monday.

Trump's attorney 'growled' at Cohen as he confronted him about insults: report

Cross-examination of Donald Trump's former longtime attorney Michael Cohen is officially underway, and Trump attorney Todd Blanche immediately began by letting Cohen know he didn't appreciate a remark he made about the defense counsel on social media.

The Daily Beast's Jose Pagliery, who attended Tuesday's trial proceedings in person, posted a dispatch from the courtroom detailing a tense exchange that Blanche had with Cohen. As the cross-examination began, Pagliery said Blanche, "Leaned forward with both hands forcefully gripping the edges of the wooden tabletop" as he approached the lectern and adjusted the microphone. He further observed that Blanche's typically "satiny" voice was replaced by "a slight grittiness."
