Key Truth Social investor named in multiple sexual harassment lawsuits
The CEO of an investment group who sank a reported $6.2 million into Donald Trump's troubled Truth Social endeavor is facing two federal lawsuits filed by female employees over alleged sexual misconduct and harassment.
According to a report from the Daily Beast's Pilar Melendez, 47-year-old Patrick Walsh, once described by Forbes “the do-it-yourself hedge fund activist you've never heard of," has been accused by personal trainer Taryn Baldwin of unwanted groping and harassment.
With the report stating Walsh has not been accused of any crimes, it goes on to note that Balwin, in her complaint stated her relationship with Walsh began with him touching her as she worked as his personal trainer, followed by a flood of texts asking her for “an exclusive on all [her] hot pics.”
According to the report, "Walsh forcefully kissed and groped her at his brother’s apartment while they were watching a movie. Terrified of professional backlash, Baldwin remained silent about the alleged sexual harassment after she quit her job, the lawsuit states."
Walsh is already facing another lawsuit filed by former employee Megan Lange who took part in a relationship with the hedge fund executive and has accused him of retaliation after a break-up in part over her concerns about his relationships with other female employees.

“I didn’t work this hard in my life to be burned by a guy that uses his privilege and power to victimize women,” explained Lange in an interview.
“It’s not illegal to be a bad boyfriend,” she said. “What he did goes so far beyond that. He impacted my career, my well-being, and my professional reputation, and there needs to be accountability for that, as well as accountability for those who enable him.”
In a statement to the Beast, Walsh's lawyer, Benjamin Noren, explained, "Because there is ongoing litigation, we do not want to try this case in the media. However, we are confident that these claims will be dismissed and the allegations proven false.”
