'Revenge': Inside Trump's 'unnerving' plan for 'curtailing freedom of the press'

After The Atlantic published editor Jeffrey Goldberg's bombshell "Signalgate" article on March 24, many national security experts described Goldberg's revelation as a wake-up call. Goldberg revealed that National Security Director Michael Waltz had wrongly invited him to a group chat on the messaging app Signal in which Trump Administration officials — including Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth — discussed a military operation against Houthis in Yemen.

The big story, from a national security standpoint, was a dangerous security breach and the fact that a prominent journalist was wrongly given access to classified information. But President Donald Trump and others in the MAGA movement were quick to demonize Goldberg and The Atlantic, which Trump described as a "failed magazine."

Far-right podcaster with ties to Trump orbit calls for 'final solution' — to deport Jews

A far-right conspiracy theorist podcaster and former bounty hunter with ties to several influential figures in President Donald Trump's orbit advocated for a "final solution" to deport all Jews from the United States in a recent episode — echoing Nazi language used in planning for the Holocaust.

Stew Peters, who has argued the Earth is flat, called for vaccine developers to be executed, and denied the Holocaust, made the comments during an interview with Matt Baker, a far-right California activist who once shouted "Heil Fauci!" during an anti-vaccine rant in California.

Judge rips Trump administration's 'unprecedented action' in new ruling

A federal judge on Monday blocked President Donald Trump’s attempt to end the temporary protected status for thousands of Venezuelan immigrants in the United States, the latest in a series of legal blows to hit the administration.

'Folks have to be careful': MAGA rep warns Trump can't ignore Constitution to run again

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) is uncomfortable with President Donald Trump's repeated insistence that he might be able to run for a third term despite the Constitution explicitly saying he can't — but he still found a way to blame Democrats for the controversy, in a conversation with CNN's Kasie Hunt on Monday.

Many far-right associates of Trump dance around the issue, with Republican National Committee chair Michael Whatley, a hand-picked Trump loyalist, saying he doesn't want to talk about that "at this time" because the midterm elections in 2026 are the priority.
