Jeb Bush tells CNN he admires brother George W. for ‘not having an opinion on anything’ since he left office
Mediaite.com reported Friday night that during CNN's "The Lead," former Florida governor Jeb Bush told the show's host Jake Tapper he's impressed with how tight-lipped his brother, former president George W. Bush, has been over the past four years, which is unlike other former presidents and lawmakers.
“He is like the most focused, disciplined guy,” Bush said during the interview. “To imagine being a former president and not having an opinion on anything over the last four years, really? I mean, to have that discipline,” he continued, “to be respectful of the president that hasn’t been as respectful of him as he should have been? Man, I could have never done that.”
Bush also explained what his brother has been up to since leaving office: “Everything he sets his mind to he does — he wants to be good at. And he’s actually become a pretty good painter."
