Well, poop. Toyota will not be opening up a new Prius plant in Mississippi because of the slowdown in car sales and overall economic situation.
Methinks Mississippi workers need to start taking pay cuts, and soon. This is what Michael Barone tells me, and dude writes an almanac and shit. American manufacturers need to catch up and stop building plants and hiring people like their leaner non-union competitors, and the only way this can happen is if we start taking healthcare away from old people who did manual labor for decades. How else is GM going to not produce its Prius?
