New Hampshire State Representative Nancy Elliott just became a blog superstar for all the wrong reasons.
Elliott, a Republican and member of the state’s judiciary committee, thinks that because New Hampshire allows gay marriage, children in schools are now being “subjected” to lessons on how best to penetrate members of the same sex.
She even went so far as to level such an allegation during a recent hearing on a bill to repeal the state’s marriage equality law, much to the confusion of school officials who vehemently denied her claims.
“I heard yesterday from a mother that in fifth grade in Nashua, they were given as part of their classroom instruction naked pictures of two men showing a presentation of anal sex,” she said during a recent session, according to New Hampshire newspaper The Nashua Telegraph.
“This is directly to the bill,” she continued. “Because we have made a marriage of same sex, they are now teaching it in public school. They are showing our fifth-graders how they can actually perform this kind of sex and they are condoning, they are saying this is normal and this is something that you may want to try.”
“We don’t have any information that this has occurred,” school superintendent Mark Conrad told the Telegraph.
In a video lighting up blogs nation-wide, Elliott provides a graphic description of anal sex, then warns, “that could happen to you.”
Her full quote went like this:
And so, you know I started thinking, and we’re talking about taking the penis of one man and putting into the rectum of another man, and wiggling it around in excrement. And I have to think, I’m not sure, would I allow that to be done to me? All of us, that could happen to you. Would you let the happen to you?”

But that wasn’t the end of her anti-gay tirade. According to blog Pam’s House Blend, she continued, even suggesting that anal sex is something kids are being “subjected” to.
“I see it as a real problem in our society,” she said. “I see it as a real affront to our citizens that their children are subjected to this. And so I think that it is important that we revisit what we did. We made a mistake, we should repeal [gay marriage].”
Even celebrity blogger Perez Hilton couldn’t resist commenting on Elliott’s rant.
“Your ignorance is infuriating!” he jeered. “Seriously New Hampshire, it’s time to start shopping for a new state rep. She thinks you all made a mistake allowing same-sex marriage in your state.”
“We’re not sure how this has come to Rep. Elliott’s attention,” the school superintendent added. “As a state representative, if she became aware of a concern from a parent about inappropriate subject matter, I would think she would have a responsibility to call us. To my knowledge, she hasn’t done that.”
Trump can’t attack Kamala Harris without contradicting his own message: Bakari Sellers
On Tuesday's edition of CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360," former South Carolina lawmaker Bakari Sellers broke down why Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) poses such a challenge for President Donald Trump.
"What we're seeing with the two parties is the narrow focus is going to be on the fact that Donald Trump and the Trump campaign have no way, and they do not know how to deal, with Kamala Harris," said Sellers. "It very difficult to say 'Kamala is a cop' and be a 'law and order president.' Those two things simply do not mesh. Not only ahistorical and inaccurate, but the messages, they collide."
"But second, it shows that the Republican Party and Democratic Party are going in two vastly different directions," continued Sellers. "The country is becoming more diverse, the country is becoming more brown. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris represent the demographics of what the country will be, and Donald Trump and Steven Miller and Mike Pence represent a day that's passed. So what I would say tonight is while Donald Trump and Mike Pence want to cheer on the Confederacy, we're trying to re-imagine what this country will look like. It goes back to a time where Americans can feel good about being first and about thinking about what our country can be: full of hope and faith."
WATCH: Tucker Carlson flips out after guest teaches him how to pronounce ‘Kamala Harris’
Fox News personality Tucker Carlson repeated mispronounced the first name of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), who is Joe Biden's running mate.
"On Fox, Tucker Carlson keeps calling her KAM-uh-luh, which is not how it's pronounced," Washington Post reporter Dave Weigel noted.
He linked to a tweet with a picture of Harris explaining in her memoir how to pronounce her name.
Harris wrote, "my name is pronounced 'comma-la' like the punctuation mark. It means 'lotus flower,' which is a symbol of significance in Indian culture. A lotus grows underwater, its flower rising above the surface while its roots are planted firmly in the river bottom."
Bishop falsely claims Joe Biden is not a Catholic — and it doesn’t go well for him
On Tuesday, Bishop Thomas Tobin of Providence, Rhode Island attacked former Vice President Joe Biden's faith, claiming that he is not really a Catholic.
Biden-Harris. First time in awhile that the Democratic ticket hasn’t had a Catholic on it. Sad.
— Bishop Thomas Tobin (@ThomasJTobin1) August 11, 2020
Biden is a lifelong, practicing Catholic, and he was also on the 2012 ticket, so Tobin's claim doesn't make any sense. But Tobin is an extreme right-wing firebrand with a history of politicizing the church — in 2007 he denied communion to former Rep. Patrick Kennedy for his pro-choice views, and in 2019 he called Gay Pride events "harmful for children" and demanded Catholics not attend them.
