A winning election night is like Christmas in the McCain household, Meghan McCain told NBC's Jay Leno Wednesday.

And the famous Republican daughter has reason to celebrate. McCain's father won another term in the Senate and Republicans took back the House of Representatives in Tuesday's midterms.

"It was a big night for Republicans and if I was President Obama, I would be very nervous," McCain said.

But as important as who won was who didn't win.

"Are you glad some of the nuttier far right people did not get elected?" Leno asked.

"I was never a fan of Christine O'Donnell because again I think it belittles all the great people that run for office," McCain offered. "You know she's out of her frickin' mind so I'm glad she's not in the Senate."

"She will actually have to get a job now," Leno said. "Maybe something in the fast food industry."

"Maybe continued your anti-masturbation platform. That was sure popular," McCain said.

"You thought the war on drugs was unwinnable," Leno joked.

McCain also took a shot at Bristol Palin, who said she didn't vote in Tuesday's election. "I guess it's only important for Bristol Palin to vote for Dancing with the Stars," McCain said. "I think a lot of women worked really hard to give us the right to vote and anyone that doesn't vote, it's ridiculous."

Writing for The Daily Beast, McCain predicted that Christine O’Donnell (R-DE), Meg Whitman (R-CA), Sharron Angle (R-NV), Charlie Crist (R-FL) would all be elected but all four lost.
