A homeless man in Phoenix was stung thousands of times by a swarm of bees firefighters predict numbered around 100,000, according to My Fox Phoenix.
The man was reportedly walking down the street when a giant swarm of Africanized bees attacked him. Firefighters arrived to save the man, spraying him with foam. The angry bees turned on the firefighters, who then had to spray each other down with foam.
"Probably close to a hundred thousand bees is what they're saying. It looks like a big dark cloud," Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Scott Walker told My Fox Phoenix. "It doesn't take a lot for them to… start attacking you."
The man was stung thousands of times, and went into anaphylactic shock. He was rushed to a hospital, and is expected to recover.
