Conservative activist and BigGovernment blogger Pam Geller compared Jewish supporters of President Barack Obama to Nazi-era Jewish Council leaders, which helped implement Nazi orders and regulations, on her website Friday.
"Like a pig sniffing for truffles, the Obama regime is sniffing around for influential kapos willing to sell out the Jewish people," Geller wrote at her blog, Atlas Shrugs. "In exchange for doing the bidding of the most anti-Israel president in the history of the United States, these suckers hope to gain what, exactly?"
"In what sounds morbidly similar to Germany's judenraet, Obama seeks to establish Jewish council leaders -- volunteers to ensure that Obama's anti-Israel policies are propagandized, packaged, sold to uninformed Jews," she continued.
Her remarks were in response to reports that Obama's presidential campaign advisers were putting together a team of influential Jewish figures to counter criticism of the president's stance towards Israel.
Geller was at the center of a long-running controversy last summer when she helped ignite a firestorm of protest against the establishment of an Islamic cultural center a few blocks away from the former site of the World Trade Center.
Her Stop the Islamicization of America has been listed as an anti-Muslim hate group in the Southern Poverty Law Center's annual roundup of extremist organizations, alongside Nazis and the Ku Klux Klan.
A week after Obama released his long-form birth certificate in May, Geller claimed Obama was an illegitimate president because he was also an illegitimate child.
