When a seagull got its head caught between two twisted power cables in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, all it could do was either dangle limply or flap futilely.
That was until the fortunate bird was rescued by Yvon Blin, a power line technician with Nova Scotia Power, and his trusty bucket truck. After pausing to take a photo of the hapless bird, Blin carefully maneuvered into position, waited until the gull briefly stopped flapping its wings, then popped a sack over its body and deftly freed its head from the cables.
According to the friend who shot the video, "the gull was fine, the lineman brought it down to the ground to let go, and it flew away. lol"
