Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) told CNN's Piers Morgan on Monday that it was rude to describe her as judgmental because of her public opinions about homosexuality.
"I am not here as anybody's judge," she said.
"Well, you've been pretty judgmental in the past," Morgan responded.
"Me?" a surprised Bachmann said. "Hardly, hardly. Well, that's rude. That's absolutely rude. I'm not a judgmental person."
But Morgan refused to back off, noting that she had been very outspoken in her opposition to same sex marriage and other social issues.
"I'm not here is anybody's judge," Bachmann reiterated.
Bachmann has described homosexuality as "personal enslavement" and suggested it was Satanic.
