Actor Kirk Cameron presented himself as not holding auspicious views on the LGBT community Friday evening, labeling homosexuality as "unnatural" and "destructive to so many foundations of civilization."
Cameron's harsh assessment bewildered CNN host Piers Morgan, who asked the "Growing Pains" actor what he would say if one of his six children revealed to be gay.
"I'd sit down and have a heart to heart with him, just like you would with one of your kids," Cameron said.
"But if one of my sons said that, I'd say, 'That's great son, just as long as your happy,'" Morgan replied.
"I wouldn't say that's great son, as long as you're happy. I would say there's all sorts of issues we need to wrestle through life in our life and just because you feel one doesn't mean you should act on everything that we feel."
