Comedian Lewis Black on Monday night was baffled by the fact that George Zimmerman, who shot and killed Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, was not arrested.

"Doesn't there have to be some sort of process that occurs were they at least yell at him for awhile," he asked CNN's Piers Morgan.

"Something is wrong there," Black added. "Someone had a gun and shot someone. Whenever that occurs, at least in most of the states I've lived in, there is a process that occurs afterwards where the person is generally held for a certain amount of time so that an investigation takes place. You shot somebody. To me it makes no sense."

“We have more guns than we do people, which is a really important step for the country,” he joked.

Black later suggested that the United States have a billion dollar lottery and only people who turn in their gun can get a ticket.
