Researchers at the Drexel University Engineering Lab recently showcased four of their humanoid robots doing something robots don't typically participate in: playing in a band.

And if that weren't enough, they're even covering The Beatles' "Come Together," written by John Lennon.

In a video published to YouTube this week, The Hubos demonstrate their musical talents without human assistance, with each movement performed generating the sounds that make up the whole song. The demo was put on during Drexel's Engineers Week, held last month.

While they're still a far, far cry from the entertainment value an actual band can provide, The Hubos show at the very least that robotics are slowly encroaching upon new realms and could one day possibly serve as a nice mime of real human artists.
