Olbermann and Current TV reportedly reach settlement
Keith Olbermann and his former employer, Current TV have reached a settlement in their $50 million dispute over the outspoken anchor’s firing from the network. A source informed the Hollywood Reporter on Tuesday that the resolution came during a private mediation session between Olbermann and the network, which was recently purchased by the Qatar-based Al Jazeera network.
Terms of the deal will reportedly not be disclosed. Current TV and Olbermann sued each other in April of 2012 when Olbermann was fired by the network. Both parties are now expected to file papers with the court asking that the cases be dismissed.
