If you weren't happy to hear about Disney's acquisition of the studio behind the Star Wars franchise, the parody "Return of the Empire" probably won't put your mind at ease. But everybody else will probably get a few laughs out of it.

Director Sam Macaroni's seven-minute-plus fanfilm takes the company's takeover of Lucasfilm beyond the boardroom, as characters from both universes are mashed together in ways that are harsh (fans of Up might want to skip the first few seconds), weird (the sinister "Lord Mouse" not only has Mickey's ears on Darth Vader's helmet, but his voice in place of James Earl Jones') and, in the case of the mismatched trio of C-3PO, R2-D2 and Wall-E, funny in a buddy-comedy kind of way, as "Threepio" voices his disapproval over having to hang out with the "garbage masher."

"I am fluent in over six million forms of communication, including street slang," the angry droid huffs. "So yo, step off, fool."

Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker (Alex Farnham) and Han Solo (Macaroni) are out to save Princess Leia (Liz Katz) from both the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland and "Emperor Walt." (Ed Bassmaster) That is, if Luke can get Obi-Wan Kenobi (ShayCarl) to quit bugging him for free passes to "Club 33."

"Just ask him -- It's this really exclusive club right above 'Pirates of the Caribbean,'" Obi-Wan pleads. "I heard all the hot chicks are there."

An actual "Episode VII," with J.J. Abrams directing, has been scheduled for a 2015 release.
