At least four people in St. Louis were killed Thursday in what police are describing as an apparent murder-suicide.

Two men and two women were killed, police said. The shooter was among the dead.

Multiple people were shot at the Cherokee Place Business Incubator in the 2700 block of Cherokee around 1:50 p.m. Thursday. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch said the 4,000-square-foot building houses five to ten small companies.

A witness told the Post-Dispatch he saw a barefoot woman run out of the building and call for help. Nearby police officers ran inside.
