A Tennessee pastor was arrested over the weekend after he was accused of raping a child.
Capt. Kate Novitsky told WSMV that a victim came forward with accusations against 49-year-old pastor Randy Giulliani, and he was charged rape of a child and aggravated sexual battery on Friday.
Novitsky said that Giulliani had worked as a pastor in Rutherford County, but he had reportedly not been affiliated with that church for two years.
Additional details about Novitsky's church affiliation were not immediately available.
Giulliani was being held in the Sumner County Jail on Sunday in lieu of a $200,000 bond. A court date was scheduled for May 7.
