Fox News host Andrea Tantaros speculated on Monday that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie could have a "problem with aggressive man hugs."
Over the weekend, the New Jersey governor took some heat from Jets and Giants football fans after he was seen embracing Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones as his team took the lead against the Detroit Lions.
On Monday, Out Numbered co-host Jedediah Bila said that she liked Christie even more because he stood up for his team, even if it angered his own constituents.
And Fox News host Shannon Bream argued if you have "a genuine allegiance like Governor Christie, maybe that's legit." But she said that "true fans" had seen through President Barack Obama's professed love of the Chicago White Sox because he named the wrong playing field one time.
"What about your performance in sports?" Tantaros asked. "You remember the soft-handed, mom jeans President Obama? Remember that one?"
However, the Fox News wondered if there was a "deeper" issue with Christie's desire to hug men.
"Is the bigger issue here not his disloyalty to the Giants or the Eagles, but his problem with aggressive man hugs?" Tantaros opined. "Because Chris Christie seems to aggressively manhandle the president, he's aggressively man hugging the owner of the Cowboys."
"Are all of these aggressive man hugs pointing to something maybe much deeper?"
