An Indiana woman stripped at roadside over the weekend to protest a so-called Confederate flag "appreciation ride."

On Sunday, members of a Facebook group promised that over 100 vehicles would rally for a "Confederate flags, American flags, Don't Tread On Me Flag Appreciation ride"

The ride was set to begin at Hideaway 2 Bar & Grill until the restaurant owner suggested that they were not welcome, forcing them to gather at an abandoned CVS parking lot in Lafayette.

A woman named Maddie said that she decided to strip down to her bra and underwear to pull attention away from the group.

Standing roadside, Maddie held a sign reading "4,000 dead." The names of hate crimes victims could be seen scrawled on her body.

She told told WLFI that the ride participants were committing "an act of domestic terrorism" aimed at minorities by flying the Confederate flag.
