The fatal shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile have sparked a lot of angry and upset reactions throughout the U.S., but one of the most righteously furious responses comes from a police officer who's upset at what racist cops are doing to her profession's reputation.

In a viral video posted on Facebook, police officer Nakia Jones says that while she normally recoils from people who bash the police, she can't help but feel outraged just like everyone else after she watched a video of the killing of Alton Sterling.

"If I wasn’t a police officer, if I wasn’t on the inside, I would be saying, ‘Look at this racist stuff. Look at this,'" said Jones, who works as a police officer in Warrensville Heights, Ohio.

She went on to tell her personal story about why she decided to become a police officer: To help stand up for people who were being hurt and bullied by others. She says that although most cops would "give their lives for other people," she can't stay silent about officers who don't live up to those ideals.

"Because there’s many of us who that would give our lives for anybody, and we took this oath and we meant it," she said. "If you are an officer that is prejudiced, take the uniform off and put the KKK hoodie on, because I will not stand for that!"
