Two more NFL players join 49ers' Colin Kaepernick in protesting national anthem

Colin Kaepernick was not the only NFL player who refused to stand for the national anthem during Thursday's slate of pre-season games, the San Jose Mercury News reported.

Seattle Seahawks defensive back Jeremy Lane was spotted sitting on the bench during the anthem prior to his team's game against the Oakland Raiders. He was reportedly the only player taking part in that game to do so.

Kaepernick continued his protest against police brutality during San Francisco's game with San Diego, but was also joined by teammate Eric Reed, who can be seen here kneeling beside him:
