A theologist known as a leading Christian apologist scrubbed his ministry's website of multiple biographical embellishments and falsehoods. The founder and president of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries, apologist Ravi Zacharias, has apparently stopped padding his academic resume with unearned degrees and misleading claims of scholastic positions and Cambridge and Oxford universities, the Friendly Atheist reported Tuesday.

Attorney Steve Baughman has been investigating "Dr. Zacharias" for years.

Baughman described Zacharias as, "the doctor with no doctorates and the scholar with no scholarly work."

"His weekly radio show plays on over 2,000 outlets worldwide, he has written over 25 books, many of them bestsellers. He gets millions of YouTube hits, packs auditoriums, and has a growing portfolio of self-named ministries with offices around the world. His CitizenAudit entry shows his ministry bringing in $25 million yearly," Baughman explained.

"Ravi, it seems, is a complete academic non-entity masquerading as a polished scholar," Baughman concluded.
