'You’re a pedophile': Roy Moore gets wrecked after weighing in on Al Franken scandal
Roy Moore speaks to CNN (screen grab)

Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore weighed in on the Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) scandal via Twitter -- and he immediately got torn to shreds.

In a tweet directed at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Moore lashed out at calls for him to drop out of the Alabama Senate race due to multiple allegations that he molested teenage girls.

"Al Franken admits guilt after photographic evidence of his abuse surfaces. Mitch: 'Let's investigate,'" Moore writes. "In Alabama, ZERO evidence, allegations 100% rejected. Mitch: 'Moore must quit immediately or be expelled.'"

The response to Moore was swift, however, as Twitter users were quick to point out that simply rejecting allegations does not make them false. Additionally, they pointed out that the accusations against Moore are far more severe since they involved children as young as 14 years old.
