Mike Cernovich, a pro-Trump internet troll who was instrumental in spreading the bogus “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory last year, held a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session on Friday in which he was bombarded with hostile questions about his past controversial statements about both politics and sexuality.
Although Cernovich fielded some questions from his actual fans, they were quickly downvoted in favor of questions that ripped Cernovich for boasting about his own past sexual misconduct in old blog and forum posts on the web.
Others took him to task for promoting the patently false “Pizzagate” conspiracy theory that alleged that top Democratic operatives ran a pedophilia ring from the basement of a pizzeria in Washington, D.C.
“Hey Mike, do you still believe that there’s a secret sex dungeon under a pizza place in DC?” asked one Redditor.
“Never said that, nice try with your edited videos!” Cernovich replied, although there is ample video evidence that he promoted the false conspiracy.
Other Redditors hammered Cernovich for regularly begging people for money even though he’s a supposed “alpha male.”
“Why do you constantly shill your BTC/BCH wallets even though no one ever sends you anything?” asked one user. “Aren’t you ashamed to be asking for handouts?”
“Why do you follow my every move?” Cernovich defensively replied.
Other Redditors mocked Cernovich’s book The Gorilla Mindset in which he teaches others how to be purported alpha males like himself.
“Hi Mike! Is the ‘gorilla mindset’ acting like a total whiny baby in a forum you brought upon yourself?” asked one user.
“Stop projecting,” Cernovich shot back.
Another questioner asked Cernovich about his possible role in allegedly creating and promoting forged documents that falsely implicated Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) of being involved in a sexual harassment scandal.
“Hello Mike. How excited are you about potentially going to jail for forging federal documents on a sitting US Senator?” the person asked.
Cernovich, as of this writing, has not responded to this question.
The entire AMA session can be best summed up by a Redditor named cahaseler, who asked Cernovich, “Are you genuinely an awful person or are you just trying to sell books?”
