Michelle Obama won't run for president, has a more ambitious plan instead

Michelle Obama says she won't run for president.

At a conference earlier this week, the former first leader made it clear that she doesn't have political ambitions. Or, at least, personal political ambitions. She'd rather work with young people, because "it's a better investment to invest in creating thousands of mes."

"They're tired of watching us do the same old thing and expect different results," she said at an event first reported on by Business Insider. "So I'm optimistic about the future. There are some bright young people out there doing some amazing things."

Helping those bright young people would be better than running herself, Obama said.

"This is why I'm not going to run for president" she said.
