His passing has left an intellectual vacuum in his wake. But it’s not empty. Think of it as a kind of vacuum energy permeating the fabric of spacetime that defies measure. Stephen Hawking, RIP 1942-2018. pic.twitter.com/nAanMySqkt

RIP Stephen Hawking. Genuinely very sad to hear that. If you haven’t, read A Brief History of Time. It’ll make the world feel more amazing and beautiful and strange. It’ll also make you feel smart and stupid all at once.

“Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious” – RIP Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking was an incredible man and I just can’t believe how lucky I was to share this Earth with him. He will always be a hero of mine.

Stephen Hawking was always one of those “pillar people” in life. Not as ephemeral as a celebrity or a politician. Someone who seemed eternal; you assumed he existed before and after you. And in a way, he absolutely will.

R.I.P. to Stephen Hawking. Losing him is truly a loss to all humanity, but his contributions will never be forgotten. He’s now amongst the stars.

Oh no! Really, oh no! A big moment. A great life. In many ways a miraculous life. By most measures, Hawking should have died half a century ago. He lived more or less a normal life span. https://t.co/oUoFgbxY3F
