The oil lobby-linked landlady who inexpensively rented a Capitol Hill condo to Environmental Protection Agency administrator Scott Pruitt also donated to his attorney general campaign in Oklahoma.

The Daily Beast reported Tuesday that Vicki Hart and her husband, oil lobbyist Steven Hart, made donations to Pruitt dating back to 2010. The report notes that Steven Hart also held a fundraiser for the now-EPA head's Oklahoma attorney general campaign.

After ABC News revealed last week that Vicki Hart rented the condo to Pruitt for $50 a night in 2017, the New York Times reported Monday that a Canadian oil company whose interests are represented by Steven Hart's firm William & Jensen had a pipeline project approved after his wife began renting to him. Subsequent reporting by The Daily Beast claimed that GOP fundraisers were held at the condo during the time period Pruitt was renting it.
