During an appearance on Ellen, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) played coy when host Ellen DeGeneres asked her whether she plans on running for president in 2020.
"Will you run for president?” the host asked her during the "20 questions" portion of the interview.
“Right now we are in the early months of 2018," Harris responded, highlighting the importance of focusing on her work in Congress that includes protecting health care, fighting to keep DACA alive and passing a ban on assault rifles.
"OK," DeGeneres responded. "Who would be your vice president?"
"Got any plans?" the senator quipped, to which the host responded "I'm busy."
