After Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren defended President Donald Trump's chief of staff John Kelly for his racist statements about immigrants, a genealogist uncovered her ancestry comes from immigrants.
“You don’t just come into this country with low skills, low education, not understanding the language and come into our country because someone says it makes them feel nice. That’s not what this country is based on,” Lahren insisted.
Except, that's exactly what happened with Lahren's family. "The 1930 census says Tomi’s 3x great-grandmother had been here for 41 years and still spoke German.”
When the story went viral, Lahren took to Twitter claiming the hypocrisy is no big deal and even referring to the genealogist as "babe."
"You stalked my family history as a part of your #resistancegenealogy and that’s all you got, babe?" she asked. She told her fans to watch Tuesday on Fox & Friends for more.

It's unclear if Lahren is implying she has more immigrants in her ancestry that didn't speak English or if she intends to somehow attack others about their ancestry. Either way, the internet was quick to roll their eyes and continue the mockery.
